I want to live in NYC sooo bad.

Hate on me if you want, but im making an educated decision. I have been all over the entire world from east to west, lived the west coast ski bum lifestyle in oregon for two years, lived in colorado, lived in california, lived new england (TILL I DIE!!!!), lived in the deep south (texas), lived in the midwest (ohio), been everywhere else.

i just fuckin love new york. i mean, ill prolly settle in denver or san diego or something eventually, its just that right now i love new york city.

anyone else love the city as much as me? tell me your deep dark secrets about secretly wanting to live on the 20th floor in some apartment building somewhere...

Awesome resturants
Every major band on tour makes a stop someplace near it at some point in time

You guys don't understand... You are skipping my explanation. I have been to many many other countries... And I just want to live in NYC. I have lived on land, in Texas and Ohio. I have stayed in Vancouver for the winter, and have been almost everywhere. I just secretly want to be in NYC.

Oh and I don't know where the fuck Williamsburg is.

I dunno what else is in Williamsburg or what kinda people live there though. Or why he would say that.

Chicago is busy enough for me. I could never live in a place with the living costs of NYC or Chicago. Or a place where it pays more to park my car every month, than a loan payment on a Infiniti G35

Hahahaha, no homie. Williamsburg is in Brooklyn, and the it is overpriced home for all that is hipster.

I grew up in NYC and I have been here going on 15 years, and it is a nice city, but a little busy. It kicks the shit out of you sometimes, but it's worth it. I think everyone should live here once, it's a good place to prove yourself. The rent is high, the people are hard to trust, and temptation is everywhere. Though it is insanely fun here, you get to do whatever you want, as LCD system once said "It's the furthest you can get from the government."

Though if you come here, enjoy skiing in Jersey like I do.

Don't think I could live in NYC, just a bit too much noise, too crowded.

If I want that 20th floor apartment, I'll take Vancouver any time, that's like every single building in Yaletown, isn't it?

NYC is the sickest city in the world. If you asked me this 2 months ago, I would have said fuck New York. I used to hate it because I always had bad times when I went.

Now my girlfriend goes to school there,and when I visit we do so much cool shit. And we have a friend with a penthouse apartment on 34th st. If you have the money and have a good crowd of people, New York is the place to be. I just wish I could be done with college now, I already have a job at Live nation New York, but I need a degree.

dude i completely understand what you are saying. i grew up 30 minutes outside the city in connecticut, and ever since i moved away i've wanted to go back and live in NYC. i've made a pact with myself that no matter what happens i will live there someday. i don't care if its in some shitty apartment, new york is such a sick place

I would love to live in NYC.  I think i would have to set up an amount of time though before i moved.  Just so i dont get completly sucked in.  If i were to say I'm going to New York for 18 months, kill it for 18 months then get the fuck out.

I love NYC as well. It's an AMAZING city, so easy to navigate, so much to do. Costs way too much to live there though. If I could navigate Seattle just as easily I'd much rather live there though.

best place in the world to live. the only other place i would consider living would be out west somewhere near some big mountains. its a little rough driving 4 hours to Vermont every weekend but you get used to it.

no i feel you, you've been all over the place and want to go somewhere new. thats sick, i have spent a lot of time in nyc and fucken love it. sure it smells, and overall it's not considered a beautiful city, but it's the cultural fuckpot of the world. everything is there. anything you want to do, or want see you can do there. the museums, the clubs, the abilitly to eat food from a cart that looks like shit and have the most delicious meal of your life.

i stay down Port Richmond most of the time. hang round mainly north and northeast.

fishtown and port rich should be gentrified enough for you. dont go a-wandering tho ;)

i love everything about phila, its beat me down, and showed me love. the people are tough as nails and don't take ANY bullshit but their the best people i've ever been around.

new york people (fuck the hipsters that run to suburbia after a few years) i mean the real deal. there kind of the same way, but sometimes they think because they have a bk or bx address that they are automatically the toughest muggs on planet earth. same way with south philly boys tho.

State of Vermont population 623,050

I think the term big is subjective.  I would consider Denver and Vancuver to be big.
