Sessions built the Ballistic Jacket out of Gore-Tex to keep you abso-freakin’-lutely dry as you bomb the mountain like an intercontinental missile. A loose fit gives you room to move as you thread ‘n thrash the tree runs, and a Recco reflector might come in handy should you have any trouble near the ski boundary. Sessions gave the Ballistic a snap-away stormskirt to block snow from getting in when it’s not welcome. Gore Tex. Fixed Hood. Fixed Snap Away Suspension Storm Skirt. Pit Zips. Lycra Hand Cuffs. The Rocket Pant is one of the few GORE-TEX pants Sessions makes each season, and they spend a lot of time making sure these things are bomber. The 2-ply twill fabric has a great feel, but it’s tough enough to endure season after season of abuse. Cargo pockets let you stow extra gear without cluttering up your handwarmer pockets (which is where we stash the cell and the tunes, FYI, ‘cause they’re soft inside) and suspended boot gaiters keep the pow-wow from creeping up your legs.
