i need some recommendations... i love my line celebs for the park but i think i need something less wide (theyre 90 underfoot) because powder doesnt exist over here on the ice coast. I demoed the k2 missdemeanors and I'm leaning toward those... +k for input :)
I (a male) have skied the Misdemeanours, and I'll be honest, I enjoyed them. They're a bit stiffer underfoot than I'd normally use (put have plenty of pop), but I guess that's a plus in the east, giving superior grip on ice.
I also rode the Faction Aria, which is also a great ski (and I believe Faction have ironed out their build quality issues too), with a sidecut that tailors to women specifically, and at 82 underfoot is a really nice jib ski.
i have been skiing on the Inviaders for the past couple yrs. loved them. this year i picked up a pair of Afterbangs..although i havnt skied them yet, im sure im gonna like them.
I mean dont get me wrong yes there good, but not as good as people say, i tried them in pow for a little gave me hulla shinbang, because they were centered.
my brother has some. they are good in pow if you like a center mounted, really soft ski in pow. but if you're looking for a skinnier ski, this is not the way to go
Anyways I love my Anthems plus I have the octoland graphic which is sick just watch out for the bases on them a few pairs seem to have some kind of defect where they don't hold wax barely at all. I'm also checking out the Afterbangs. I'm waiting for some more on snow reviews first.
I rode the Missdemeanors for 2 years and I liked them. They definitely held up much better then my atomic twins, which the edges ripped out in less than a season. The Missdemeanors are a bit heavy but, you'd get used to it super quick. Men's skis have much better technology and much more choices so don't think you have to go with a women's ski because I've ridden both and I don't think I really noticed a huge difference when skiing park.
a ski with a 90 waist is perfect for the east coast IMO, it is still skinny enough that you can have control on the ice, but has enough waist so you can float pow if there is some. There is pow at whiteface too courtney, you just gotta go in the tree's, or be willing to poach some trails. I'll show you where to look.
i'm probably getting the mai tai's this year and they aren't for the mellow groom rider girlies . they hold up super good and if kaya can shred them for a year then i bet any other girl can too
