Cheap Sony floorstanding speakers
$175 Sony receiver that isn't that bad.

Car stereo:
Eclipse something or other deck, motorized, mp3, 8v preamps. Phoenix Gold dual 31 band trunk mounted eq
2 RE Audio XXX 12" subs with Directed 1500d amps
CDT Audio 2-way 6.5 component set with JL Audio 300/2 powering them
Infinity 6.5" speakers in the rear off deck power.

i forgot, my box is ported, and i have 2 directed 1500d amps heh. and a battery in my trunk and high output alternator.

i don't own an eclipse either, eclipse is the brand of the deck. its in an impala....with 20 inch rims lol

i really dont have anything to brag about right now.



But, when i get a legit job, first $ thing im treating myself to is one of my buddies stereos. hes a self taught acoustic engineer, and has been building speakers and stereos for the last 10 years or so. his stuff is just ridiculously nice sounding, on par with stuff in the 5 digits. the first time i walked into a high end audio boutique with him, he just owned everyone there with his knowledge and understanding of acoustic and electrical concepts. its nuts. cant wait...

focal 6.5 components in front
forget what 6x9s are in the rear deck
two 15" eclipse subs in an enclosed fiber glass resonated box custom flushed in the trunk
zapco 500x4 running mids and highs
zapco 750 bridged running subs
amps flushed in the floor of the trunk in front of subs

such a stupid waste of money.

-Full Infinity Sound system run through entire car with Monster THX cables
-Plus two 12in 400watt subs with 600watt amp. also wired with THX monsters.

subs are not the best but i got it for real cheep so i dont care.

lol i know. i spent all kinds of money on stuff that...its cool but after a while your like eh i could have went with less.

zapco is baller equipment. and custom enclosures just money wasted. i paid like $300 for some kickpods.

im going to be craigslisting my stuff today i think.

forgot to mention the custom kick pods for the components too. I've got a bunch of friends that do custom installs so I had my shit done on the side for pretty cheap.

I'm not even wasting my time selling any of it because I'll never get anything close to what it's all worth out of it. fuck it though, it's only money. easy come, easy go.

the entertainment system in my room consists of:

24" Ben-Q HDMI monitor
Logitech z2300 speakers
PS3 (and a 500gb external hard drive loaded with shows, movies, and music)

Denon 4ch amp -> B&W DM602s3 Bi-Amped getting about 100wrms pc.
Denon 2ch -> Cerwin Vega 8" subs in a 32hz ported box.  Getting about 200wrms pc.


Car:

Nakamichi CD-400
Genesis Profile 2 Ultra
RE XXXv2 6.5" comps passive in sealed and deadened doore sat in ply/fibreglass pods.

^^^This sounds sick, you wouldn't know there isn't a sub!

In the 4runner : Pioneer premier deck( 590IB i think), 4inch Pioneer TS speakers in the front, 6x9 Pioneers in the back, Pioneer tweeters on roof, two 10" kicker comp subs, and a RF 500w rms amp to power the subs. Working up some cash to upgrade the front speakers and get a decent 4 channel amp for the mids

at home in my room i got...

a 200$ sony receiver                thats was new in 06? if i remember right
and 2 technics speakers with 12" subs an 2 smaller ones going towards the top, bought the speakers for 50$ off craigslist, they look like they mighta been made in the 70s because of the label/amp they came with, nonetheless they were brand new and had only been used once to test them out, they actually bump pretty hard for what i expected.

all thats hooked up to my 20" tv (incase yous wondering) and my ps2 and ipod of coarse.

i have 2, 12'' subs with a 600w kenwood amp and a deck to go along in my beat down 98 safari van!

the best part is people looking around at stop lights wondering where the thump is commin from...cause it couldnt be commin from that van...OR COULD IT?!?!?!

Monster Cables were already ran through the car when i got it.... and ik there underpowered but i got it fo reallll cheep so i am not to concerned especially cause it still bumps pretty good.

Alpine Deck, 4vpreamps
Stereo Intergirty 12" 1000w rms - anyone heard of these guys? its an internet brand from years ago...i dont know if they're still around. It was a single $300 sub could hit 15x.xx db and had amazing sound qiuality.
2.1cu ft ported box tuned to 28hz
brutus 1000rms @ 1ohm amp
0 gauge wiring

It was awsome, then i got rear ended and totaled my car, breaking the cage on my sub and smashing my amp. Insurnace gave me shit for it....
