anyone play Diablo Diablo 2 or Diablo 2:LOD ?

games are CLASSICS... i quit smoking the other day so i plan on playing them in order as an anti drug lol

gonna play Diablo then the hellfire expansion, then move on to the others, as i patiently await DIABLO 3

Used to play D2 and the expansion like it was my job in grade school...My brother was super into it last year and had incredibly geared characters...I cannot wait for D3 it might replace my WoW addiction.

WoW actually has a purpose when you reach the highest level unlike Diablo where you just do Baal hell runs a billion times to get to 90+

I was nova sorc FTW way back in the day when SOJs and chipped gems still had value.  It was really funny she had the best possible gear, and it was because I was looking for a hell Diablo run and joined into a random one.  I got in the game and ran through a portal to diablo's chamber and they had already killed him, but there was a green item laying on the ground, so I swoooooooooped it and it turned out to be Tal's Mask, which was worth 15 SOJs ath the time and enough to get skulders ire and occys and everything I needed except war travs.

Yeah but a five year old can make max level on WoW in like a month, its by far the easiest MMO ever.  Diablo was actually a bitch once you got to like the mid 70's.  You had to do like a million cow runs.

And there was always dueling, ganking, and general trolling.  Although I admit the trolling potential on WoW is much greater than basically anything, except maybe FFXI but only because too many people took that game too seriously.

Yah I have to admit WoW is easy as shit..except hard modes which are difficult but I have gotten more into the pvp/arena aspect of the game because my lock blows bitches up and currently gearing my hunter for pvp.

I used to play when I was a kid, got back into it this last summer, then got back into it again now that I have the mod Meridian XL. Google it. It's fucking dope. All new skill trees, all new items, all new monsters... basically reinvented the game. I guess not even Blizzard knows how the guy who made this mod did some of the shit he did.

I enjoy PvP much better than raiding..raiding takes soo much time and I hate listening to 45yr olds yelling at eachother on vent because some dumb fuck was standing in a fire and wiped the raid.

Arena can be super stressful though especially trying to find a decent partner so late in the season.

But neither require that much skill...I guess PvE is a little harder since it requires coordination but toc10 and uld10 are jokes.

Raiding consisted of 4 types of people, none of whom got along.
1. Immature prepubescent twats who made a lot of noise and annoyed the fuck out of everyone. Grossly incompetent. This was like 20% of the group.
2. Kids our age who took the game way too goddamn seriously, and you wanted to punch in the fucking face. Very pretentious. Very obnoxious. Usually damn good at the game. Sometimes however, fucking terrible.
3. A small group of kids roughly our age who were there to have a good time, however, were overall the best players in the raid hands down. This group would usually branch out and bitch about everyone else in a separate Vent. This group was what made WoW fun. However, this group also made everyone else livid, either for not taking it seriously enough or for being pricks by picking on people for any of their numerous flaws.
4. Older group who tried to hold everything together but generally got overwhelmed by the tremendous immaturity. These people were sometimes cool. Generally, however, they were just as whiny and dramatic as everyone else.

There was also usually a bitch or two, and she always got ridiculed relentlessly because WoW is apparently for males who not only don't have sex, but who want to keep it that way.

It consisted of a lot of power struggles, boringness, sitting around, dealing with people who are so grossly incompetent you wonder how the fuck they even breathe, doing the same fucking thing over and over, and wanting to stab yourself in the face. PvP, on the other hand, was badass.

And I feel PvP requires a LOT more skill... I donno, I haven't played since like... third or fourth month of arena probably? Like a year and a half ago I think. Anyways, I never had the time to grind out the best gear, so I was almost always taking on people who had massive advantages over me, but I exploited the living fuck out of everything and played a warlock so I was able to hold my own pretty damn well. My friend Alex was a pally, so when we played together there was really no limit to the destruction.

Agreed...The guild I am in now is I guess a semi-serious 10man raiding guild who sometimes does 25mans...they are pretty damn good but I never get to raid because they already have a damn geared raiding lock. But they take shit so damn serious sometimes and get pissed cause I watch ski movies and browse on NS during trash pulls. But during PuGs I want to end my self sometime over the idiots who I have no idea got so much gear or even managed to get level 80.

Like you said pvp is the shit especially being a lock with decent pvp gear..2300sp, 927resilience, 23k health and just wrecking people who have little to no pvp gear and also owning some people who are equally as geared as me.

Battlegrounds require little to no skill IMO but arena is a whole different story...2s and 3s are insane once you get to higher rating because you have to keep so much shit in line and communicate and coordinate so well with random people who are sometimes idiots.

But all in all it is a fun ass game but my account recently got hacked and my time card expired. But I did get my gear back I am just waiting to buy another game card so I can study and do well on my midterms and what not.

Holy fuck that was a story and I am a nerd but w/e

Hahaha I realized that same thing when I wrote up mine... like fuck, even though that part of my life is long over, I'm still a massive fucking nerd by most peoples' standards. But yeah, arena was intense as hell... your team can be a goddamn wrecking crew but then you'd get to a certain point bracket and just hit a wall. I enjoyed BGs though, just because very little in that game is more satisfying than taking on 2 or even 3 people at once and coming out on top. Except epic duels. I dumped way too much time into dueling. Fuck. I kinda miss that game now.

You get a certified check sent to you. There are some sites that could possibly be legit that use paypal. Just do a google search to find them. I don't know if those are honest.

But what I meant was never accept paypal from a single buyer. That's guaranteed to be a scam.

Ha you should play..Destro bust is soo fucking OP right now...I once crit a guy for 14k when I was in my pve gear..and regularly double chaos bolt/conflag crit someone for 20k damage in 1 GCD in pvp gear...I love doing BGs in my pve gear since I have like 2600sp and 25% crit and just explode people..

But I have thought about selling my account since it was 2 decently geared 80s and a fair amount of gold but I have been playing to long to just sell my main. 3+ years

No I heard that but now they are making it even so that people who QQ about arenas can have equal opportunities to get the "best" gear. I mean it will be kinda cool but also stupid because if you lose your rating won't go down which is dumb IMO because now they are making it easy for everyone to get the best pvp gear because of everyone QQing about arena.

Wow has gotten progressively easier since C'thun, nothing new really.. I dunno, it could be fun though. Getting to the higher ranks will be interesting seeing as BGs are only really fun when its two very good teams. WSG is sooo much fun when both teams arent retarded

Yeah, it was tough for me, but being free of that game feels so good... and now that my account is sold, I don't really feel like starting from scratch when none of my friends are playing, or paying for a new copy of the game plus the monthly fee...

I'm really liking Diablo 2 right now though. You should check out this mod I'm playing for it, it might ween you off WoW haha. It still feels like D2, but it's a whole different game. The character classes are completely revamped, with brand new skill trees, specialties, etc. There's special "uber talents" that you can only get by completing certain quests. The monsters are harder, and have cool/unique abilities that make them way more fun than in the original. The items are all new. He even added a real endgame. Like this guy basically devoted six years of his life to making this thing. Blizzard is even using some of his ideas in D3... they don't even know how he did half the shit. It's pretty awesome. Do you have to own the original diablo 2 game to play it?

It could be something to try on the side since I am always open to new games and WoW gets boring as shit when not raiding or bored of BGs.

and to the dude above..yah but I also love owning teams in AB. But I also love epic EoTS battles and the AV turtles are always fun.

But yah I am pumped for cataclysm since hunters no longer use mana and locks have a new shard system which I am super stoked for and I am excited for IC in 3.3
