HVX200 users, HELP ME!

So i'm new to the HVX and I kind of fucked myself over. We did a 3 camera shoot with HD cams. 2 of those cams belonged to us and the footage turned out great. The HVX that we borrowed however, gave us some issues. Unfortunately, I shot footage with the HVX in 480i/60i Squeeze on tape. Now for my issue in which help would be very appreciated:

I uploaded the footage from the HVX and and footage appears to be shown in 16:9. However, when I drop this footage into my FCP timeline, it appears as 4:3.

So my question is this: I am mixing this footage in with the footage from the two other HD cams. So, what would be the best capture settings to make the HVX the best quality possible? I'd like to match it to the Hd footage as best as I can.

the hvx shoots god awful footage onto minidv. Maybe its because i was coming from an XL2 which shoots pretty awesome footage onto minidv, but when i used my hvx for the first time before my p2 card came in, it was some ugly stuff. That being said, maybe i can try to help?

First off, this is the deal breaker; are you planning on upresing the sd hvx footage, or downresing the other HD footage?
the only real answer is downres the HD footage actually, it'll be a bitch, but the hvx footage isn't going to upres well at all.

as for capturing?
I don't think there's too much you can do about it. It shoots letterboxed 16:9, so it's basically just a 'shorter' 4:3 image. As far as i know there's not really much you can do about that. Then again, i haven't dealt with this, so i could be mistaken.

How would i deal with it?
Assuming that the hvx footage is captured as letterboxed 4:3, I would work in an SD 4:3 timeline and just downres the HVX footage appropriately. This would be a major pain though, so unless you really need the footage from the hvx, i would say just forget about that stuff and work with the 2 HD angles you've got.

Thanks for the help, yeah it's really quite a dilemma. I think the best bet for me is to add the Widescreen filter to all of the Squeezed HVX shots and mix it with the HD ones. When i play a HVX clip next to one of my HD clips in a half size window, the quality isn't too bad, just when it's blown up. But oh well, learned my lesson haha. Thanks for the help, plus karma,

if you shot it in squeeze can't you capture it as anamorphic or no?
