i live in bend town. not bad, kinda boring; you just gotta be creative.
snatchelor isnt a bad place to ski. a little flat, a lot windy. the parks are nice though. better and better every year.
OSU Cascades is on the CC campus, which is PACKED from what i hear. i dono, doesnt seem like a bad option to me. they offer a couple courses OSU doesnt. hit up the regionals, theres a thread about it there.
chronik is cheap and seriously chronic, too

i don't go there but i live in bend and i'm a high school student. bend isn't huge city but the things to do outdoors are endless. mt. bachelor is sick, well at least parks are. it gets pretty good snow. it is windy but when you're in park, who cares. osu cascades has a really nice campus, you should check it out and come visit and ski.

Its great here, got all kinds fo terrain and really volatile weather. When its good its usually bluebird with a few inches at least. When its bad its really bad but it drives the gapers away. Most of us locals prefer the shitty weather cuz its windy + falling snow which means fresh tracks every run. Parks get pretty good, we got a park from mid mtn all the way down, i think its 15 features from bottom to top if you take the fullest line, with side by side stuff for variety. Up at the top you got some double black runs and a 50-120 ft cliff if your really hardcore enough to send it that far. Sick area.

Bachelor is sick. Im looking into the cascades campus too, my brothers go to osu and say that they hear that its super boring, small, and there arent as many classes to choose from. That being said you can always transfer back to corvalis. Ill prolly end up there. I guess there some stuff going on in covallis about starting a ski club tho, they would have a bus to idk where, it would be willamette pass, hood, or bachy, not sure yet
All times are Eastern (-5)
