Anybody ever ski the Big Horn Mountains?

Hey,
I am thinking of making some trips up the Big Horn Mountains in WY this winter.... Anybody ever do any backcountry stuff up there? I made a few backpacking trips up there last summer, and I found some places that look badass. Any info would be appreciated!
Or is anyone interested in making some trips from SLC?
There has to be some unskied slopes up there somewhere.....

interested in going from slc maybe. never been there though, seems like the remoteness might make sleds pretty necessary though.

Sleds would definitely be handy! But there are some great spots that are within skinning distance from some maintained roads.... There are even some great runs that could be accessed with someone to shuttle.... But if anyone has access to a sled, I have a truck and maybe a trailer we could use. I also know some people up there who own sleds, so that may be a possibility as well!

The answer is Yes. the big horns do have some great skiing. some ,as mentioned, with in skinning distance from highways. other more out of the way stuff but almost guaranteed never been skied before would be an overnight trip. sleds are not allowed in parts/most of the area. which areas are sled friendly im not exactly sure. i dont usually carry the map. if youre heading that way hit me up with a message. i wouldnt say id be a guide. but i could show you what i ski. plus i would have another reason to go ski. as if i need much of one in the first place. anyways, good luck in the horns. and the sports lure in buffalo is about the only ski shop for miles. but good selection for buffalo,wy.
