New skis, Warranty Question

I picked up a pair of JJ's from my local shop a few weeks back and just took off the plastic wrap to get a feel for them and noticed a chunk out of the sidewall. I am wondering what my options are. Call the shop I picked them up from or call armada? what should i do?

go back to the shop and exchange them for another pair. the shop can take care of the rest...
