this is probably the dumbest thing I've ever heard. period. first of all, it's not the governments cash, it's our cash. It's called taxes pal, and I think you need a basic crash course in.....everything. Second of all, I think you need to understand that, by definition of them being here without citizenship, they are, in fact, here illegally and are criminals, no matter what they do. You can argue the virtue of that, but you cannot argue that simple fact at the core of the problem. Lastly, you have an incredibly idealistic view of illegal immigrants. Some of them work hard, but the facts prove that most of them are unemployed, are living off the the American tax dollar, committing crimes, and selling drugs. Look at the violent crime rates and kidnapping rates in any border state and you will see what goes on. The only thing we have to learn from illegal immigrants is how to most effectively A.) get them out of the country, b.) keep them out of the country, and C.) allow them back in through legal channels, like say, I don't know, the citizenship process, perhaps? I am fine with allowing immigrants here LEGALLY, after all, America is always open to those of want to come here and make and honest living HONESTLY and legally.
Also, when Immigrants send their extra money back to their own countries, that is a bad thing for the country. It may be hard for you to understand this, but most illegals do not pay taxes because they are either paid under the table (straight, untaxed cash) or make too little money to pay an income tax on. The only way to tax that money is if they make purchases in the US. If they are sending that money home, it isn't being put back into the market place and that can have a tremendous effect on local, state, and even the national economy, especially when we have such staggering amounts of illegals here already, with more coming every day.
You buying jiberish shit and putting money towards a ski pass is a hell of a lot more helpful than a bunch of people not paying shit, taking out multiple social securities, and flooding emergency rooms (crowding out AMERICANS) because you are putting your money directly back into the marketplace where it belongs.
In short, your post is wrong in all ways because you don't acknowledge the fact that these aren't American citizens. They are illegal immigrants who reap the benefits of the US constitution and the benefits of the country while putting little to nothing back into that system. And don't bs me about taking jobs no one else wants, because that is a pathetic argument given the facts. If we got rid of all these people and kept the ones who are willing to stay here legally, we'd effectively provide jobs for hundreds of thousands of unemployed Americans. In this economy, do you think the millions of Americans without jobs would sniffle if a whole bunch of positions opened up? It may do more than Obama has been able to do to bring that 9.5% unemployment rate down.
