im thinking about maybe getting this camera this winter and need some help deciding. Ive searchbarred and stuff but i still need a little help.
Im looking for a cheap camera, 600 dollars or less and lower the better.
Ive seen the hv20/30/40 and they look like a good deal, i was just wondering if theres a cheaper camera thats going to have a price to performance like the hv. Also, would it be better to have a consumer camera like the hv30 or something that has more manual controls.
Currently my best choice is an hv30, but do you have other suggestions?
sorry for the noob post.

not gonna find many good quality cameras less than the hv. as for the consumer vs manual controls, thats pretty much up to you. what is your main goal, good looking video or learning cinematic techniques.
im gonna guess that the hv is the cam for you unless you give me some more information
