Early skiing in the interior - where?

ive got two sleds, quads, so transportation isnt the issue. just wondering some good places to check out before the resorts open late nov. im in salmon arm bc so anywhere within 3hrs? thanks

Rogers Pass is the obvious answer. and um, wait, you got sleds and all that jazz, i guess you want some sled accessed terrain - well... i just don't know, sorry - i don't spend much time up in that neck of the woods.

when could you go up to rogers pass and get some decent skiing? we dont mind hiking

just pick up a topo map, and a back roads book. scan for alpine that's in your neighborhood. For early season (this early) your going to have to look for glacial areas, other wise there is little base. where abouts are you at? I posted some pics from Mt. Mcrae in the regionals. It was fun, but even I will say, its still to early ... especially for a sled.
keep us posted on your search. It looks like rain in the alpine over the weekend ....blah.
