I would look at the ROSSI S7 before any of these.  Sickest skis I've ever ridden on for sure.

ditto. Personally (that means me, not necessarily you), I'd go with the JJs cause they are really light and poppy and float like crazy.

Sorry for the thread jack but I have aqustion regarding these same skis. I am 5' 8" 150lbs. I currently ride EP pros, and Surface live LIfe. I am looking at the JJ, CRJ Bent Chetlers. I want to build a touring setup with dukes. I ski in Colorado. I will be doing BC from resort access and BC by skining in, sled etc.. I would like something with a little stiffer flex then the EP pros for the crud but a little softer than the surface. I am also concerned about weight issues, which are the lightest skis here?

JJs are stiffer than Chetlers, which were medium-soft.  They were fun, but too soft and short for me to get as a pow jib ski.  I have 189 LL2s now.  Look at this thread, all of these were compared, CRJs won jibbyness: http://www.tetongravity.com/Forums/showthread.php?t=156125

I wanted CRJs, but thought I couldn't get a deal, so got a great deal on LL2s which I'm sure I'll love a ton, but was offered a great deal on CRJs afterwards.  I'm glad I got LL2s though since CRJs have camber, and I have a rockered with camber 195 333 powder charger coming.  LL2s are medium-stiffish and might be the most stable of all these...lots of threads on them.

Ummm....dood the JJ's are stiffer overall than both these skis.  Have you actually felt any of them?

I would say just by feel, that the CRJ is the softest (especially in the tip/tail areas).  Bentchetler also seems to have a stiffer overall flex than the CRJ.

I was really stoked on the CRJ until I actually felt the ski, and now i'm more skeptical because they seem to be much softer than I expected....I need to get out on them.

Go for the JJ it is going to be your best bet, as it slays absolutely everything.

how much skinning are you planning on doing? for little sidecountry trips any of those will be fine, but for anything longer than that, thats gonna be REALLY heavy. any of those.

I am planning on short sidecountry stuff, not all day long hut trip stuff. I just want the dukes on a pair so I can easily get back up into mini golf style zones when a sled is impractical.

ah gotcha. id say the chetler or jj then. i believe the jj is lighter. either would be solid though.

although i believe the JJ's rocker is more subtle, and it has camber underfoot, which will also help with skin contact and traction nawwhatimean?
