One of the 2bi4 Media DVX's is for sale. This one never even saw snow.
Was used to goof around with this summer and was going to be used for a
big project this upcoming ski season. But I am poor, and with all the
new DSLR's that shoot HD video, I really have no excuse to not sell of
the photo and video gear I have now and combine.
CAVEAT!!!!
A few months ago, I brought the camera outside to put in the car. I was
going to shoot some paddling with a friend. Realized I forgot my keys
inside and I set the camera down on the roof of the car to go back in
and get the keys. Came back out, hopped in the car and pulled out just
in time to hear the camera slide off the back of the car. Camera hit
the ground matte box first and took off the front end (same thing that
happens all the time when a skateboard hits the front of a DVX). I
picked up all the pieces, brought them inside, and put it back
together. When I did, the only thing left not working was the manual
zoom ring. It will zoom with any of the zoom rockers from 0 to 88 (of
100). From 88, you can pull the zoom out with the ring or use the
rocker. Aside from that, the manual focus works, the screen is perfect,
and their are only still 117 hours on it. I am asking $1000 just
because of the issue with the zoom. It might be a simple fix, but once
I got it back together, I didnt want to pull it back apart again. It
ripped off via 3 small screws that pulled out of the plastic threads
they were in. I just slid some JB Weld in there and reset the screws. Is solid and wont come off on you.
So what you get is this:
-DVX100b - 117hrs
-1 Panasonic 12 hour batt - holds full charge
-1 no name 12 hour batt - holds full charge but fitment in camera is
off and sometimes will wiggle and lose connection with camera. Came
with camera, i never really used it in the 6 months I have had the
camera.
-Tiffen 72mm Polarizing filter
-Charger
-AC Adaptor to plug camera into wall
-Original Panasonic neck/shoulder strap
-Anything else I have laying around.
Lens cap is missing...Lost in house somewhere.
Camera is extremely clean and was taken care of aside from ther car
incident. There is some wear of paint, and a few small marks on the
surface, but that's to be expected.
The only problem with it was that the tripod mount popped out of the
base. I fixed it with some JB weld. I have used the camera on a tripod
all summer and it hasnt come loose at all. I didnt take any pics of the
base, but can get some for anyone interested.
I am asking $1000 for the package above. I also have a GS320 that I
used as a capture deck that is in good shape as well. On a sunny day,
the GS320 would make a great second camera for a long lense shot. If
you want that as well, We could work something out. Buyer pays
shipping. Camera is located in Northern NH. Email: Jack@SAsnow.com
