Replying to A few questions about turntable binding (FKX Pros)

Ok so i just picked up some FKX Pros (yellow and black) and its my first pair of FKS style bindings. I have a few questions.

1. The din window is missing. Will this effect anything?

2. They are mounted with a race plate (which i know they will come off of) but theres a piece that kinda puts them at an angle on the heelpiece will this come off?

3. Prob a stupid noob question but they really dont really wanna pivot a whole lot is this normal?
