Smith Holt Sizing

How does the Holt fit? Currently I have a medium Giro Shiv and it fits fine without a beanie. I want to wear a beanie with my Holt so should I get a Large?

It should fit fine imo,
Unless you plan on keeping the original padding of the helmet actually on the helmet.
I can fit in a medium Trace, and when i take the padding out it fits perfectly with a beanie under it.

But get someone else's input too, but id say go for a medium holt and tkae out the padding etc.

i have a medium holt, i took off the ear pads, wear a beanie under it, i feel they run pretty big, the medium should be fine for u

Smith does run a little larger than giro.  A medium holt will be  56-58 cm circumferance and comes with 2 pads, a thin beanie like pad set and a thicker normal pad set.  Also smith has a bit different shell shape than the giro, so you may want to try it on first.

i have the large and wear a 7 and 5/8ths fitted hat for comparrison.

both fit me snug.
