Hey man,
you are getting lit up!
Take them to a shop so they can SHOW you. Its really hard to explain how forward pressure works on your bindings. ALSO, dont EVER EVER EVER mount bindings onto a ski unless you have a jig. Ski shops have these special do-dads that clamp onto the ski and tell you exactly where to drill the holes for the binding. that being said, the boot is supposed to fit very tight. the heel piece will have to move backwards a little bit (in most cases) when you have correct forward pressure... but please man, go to a shop so they can show you. theres an indicator on the binding you have to look at to know if the pressures right. i dont wanna hear about how i told you your bindings need to fit snug and now you have no knees.
