No theyre not, for freestyle skiing DIN is a personal choice rather than an exact number for everyone. Just because you have the same height and weight doesnt mean you should have the same DIN because you might be hitting different shit.
That said, it wont hurt to do it yourself as long as you dont go overboard. Start at 4 or 5 and turn it up if you find that you need to after riding for a bit.
