Replying to Going to geneva / montreux for the first time

Hello,

I live in Tahoe and am traveling to Europe for the first time. I am headed to Madrd and Barcelona for a few days before going Geneva and then onto Montreux. I will be in Montreux from Nov 12-14th. My question is: should I bring ski stuff. I ski a ton during the winter in Tahoe and my trip was not to ski but just sightsee, but being the skier I am I can't help but want to ski! So is it worth it? Will there be good skiing the 12th - 14th? If so, where should I go?

Like I said I have never been before. I was planning on seeing Montreux and Chamonix. Good choices or would you go some where else? To me it seems that seeing Mont Blanc would be cool. Yes?

Thanks for the help. If anyone out there needs help with a trip to Tahoe, let me know. I can sympathize with not knowing where to go.
