tryin to make a ski movie sucks

nothing and i mean nothing ever goes right. theres just been so many times where shit has gone wrong. and now this shitty weather, i wont have enough time to get everything filmed that i wanted too. and tryin to get people up there to film is evn harder casue there always doin somethin. and too top it all off my mom wont let me go up to another resort today (one of the last times all year im goin to be able to ski) to film, casue she thinks that my friend is a bad driver. WTF, i think i would have a happier ski season if i wasnt tryin to film, but it wouldnt be as fun

yea it sucks, i somehow managed to make a movie out of one day of skiing, but hey, im from michigan. the trailer is here - http://briefcase.yahoo.com/kihnx4@sbcglobal.net

i think i set my standards too high and i have too many goals, casue we have hrs of shit filmed but im a perfectionist so i can find something wrong with every shot.

without having a budget or a set schedual to work with, you more or less have to shoot what you can, when you can, and that's all. I gave up filming for this year, because it's my last year of skiing before I head to college, and I wanted to make the most of it. It takes a lot of time and dedication to really make a movie work.

true dat^, last year we put a good 4 1/2 months of shooting and 5 months (on and off)editing, it takes much time and money for that matter

that trailer kind of sucked, there wasn't enough to it, you need more variety, sorry to burst your bubble but the song was good.

yeah, making a 5 minute sponsor me vid is one thing but trying to make a full length ski film is quite another, you really have to be willing to give up alot of time and money. keep on truckin' foo. hehe

just film your dog taking a shit in the backyard. thats what I do when I'm feeling blue. dogs have the funniest faces when they pinch it off.
