I just read the rodeo/bio thread. Just want to be clear. Anybody who tells me that 1:48 is NOT a rodeo, then go back to school.

take a kangooroo, its a flat 3 and a flat 5, there's a small difference between rodeos and flat. Look at them carefully, a rodeo is really more backwards than a flat, a flat is more sideways

The thing with inverts is that its a really flexible naming system. There are rodeos, corks, mistys, bios, you name it, but these are only general terms. There are so many different axes to flip on that everyone does it a little different. It can really boil down to someone's personal style and it really changes how it looks to different people.

What I have learned, this is not necessarily right though:

Mistys: flip forward
Flats: look at the name
rodeos: More to the side than straight up corks ex.: flip right spin left, just look at a rodeo 5
Corks: flip straight back more or less

Bios: not even going to try

rodeos are not thrown forwards. this is a retarted thread. rodeos and flatspins are tricks that look very similar, yes the line from your feet to your head defines it as flat or rodeo, but it's not like you throw one barely inverted and one just less than inverted and call one a rodeo and one a flat.

yes buddy they are haha, I don't know if you ever done one but when you do one you throw your shoulder in front then roll on it kind of and flatspin is almost like a backflip

i'd say rodeos are very different from corks, i think what you are describing is the lesser known d-spin. i think of a rodeo as an off axis backflip with a spin out, not really a spin during the backflip
