id like to know about the quality and how these skis ride

I coudn't tell you about the quality because I've never ridden a pair first hand.  But I have heard many many manyyyyy People use the word "Orgasmic" To describe the feel of the ski.....

Haha. We are perfectionists when it comes to our gear so every ski we produce is hand crafted to not only match our standards but also yours, the consumer. We know that you want a ski that isn't just pumped out of a factory like a can of sprite but instead made with care, hard work and love. We are the only company that hotboxes each pair to ensure that the skis are as fast as they can be as soon as you get them. Also, we hnd inspect every pair ourselves before we send them out to make sure that they are up to par. You guys care to comment about something stated in another forum thread?

"In my experience, bamboo sucks on fat skis. In the case of OTHER bamboo fat skis that I have used, if the ski is over 140mm wide in the tip, bamboo is generally too torsionally soft to handle any power driven into the ski.  This causes the ski to collapse, which in turn causes the ski to either a. sink, b. release from edge, c. lose stability at speed, or d. all of the above.  

If, however the bamboo is reinforced with other wood, or metal plates the bamboo is generally stiff enough to charge with."

They obviously skied some pretty shitty bamboo fat skis.  I am not going to name it, but pretty sure I know the exact one whoever posted that was talking about.  There is a pair out there that you can literally laterally twist the tip by putting it between your fingers and just turning......which is scary.  A lot of people testing it found that it did exactly what he listed above.  Our skis are way beefier than that, even the softer models, like the caylor.

I have never heard of a single person who used our skis last year having issues with torsional stiffness.  It is just like any other core material in that if you have a shitty core profile with the wrong composite layup, it will suck.  I hate skis that collapse and I brought that mentality to ever ski we make, even the park skis.

Blue Steele is going to be medium flex. David (ON3-PO) likes buttering, it will be able to do that. However, if you want a ski thats going to be buttery and still ridable in the park, check out the Jeronimo.

i check the website everyday looking for info on shipping dates and such. my credit card was charged too so what does that mean? i hope it means that the skis are on their way!

Everyone card was charged as soon as you ordered.  The whole point of the presale was to help us raise the needed capital to cover our huge material costs.

This week we are finishing cores, getting in our new base/stone grinder, finishing two ski presses, and a few other crazy things.  We will probably make an update tuesday or so, and an update right around the 1st.

The skis are amazing, and continue to be amazing after many days on them. I rode mine for about 10 days of ripping at alta early season, then at least 10 days of only park (mostly rails), then probably another 5 or 6 days at the jibyard (which has claimed the lives of many a ski) and I have 0 de-lam, 0 edge de-lam, 0 problems.

They are also probably the one of, if not the softest pair of skis scott has ever made, and they are SO solid riding in variable conditions, windblown, choppy crud, whatever.
