Helping improve a mountains park

whatever you do, be ready to put a lot of time in working in the park, because if you make any kind of large scale suggestion, they will probably expect you to work on the park.Just be casual and make sure you know specifically what you want to change. It might help to bring drawings or photos as examples.

first of all you might as well forget about the fact that they are all snowboarders. it has nothing to do with their job, or how they do it. bringing that to the table might make them bias against you before they even hear your ideas.

think about very simple improvements first.  If it is a small mountain im sure they have very little budget for park.  Think about what you can do to improve the existing features that they have, and then discuss how you would like to see jumps built.  If you can start out with easy to fix ideas they will be more willing to implement them and once your foot is in the door you can lobby for other changes.  It might be a slow process but if they see improvement in the park after just a few simple changes you will build trust and gain leeway in making future changes.  but ya, be prepared to put some time in, good luck hope it works out.

well its easier to share rail designs as we are getting a new park this year with a tow rope so they are going to need new rails
