So this happened at my school last week.. And everyone made a huge deal about it.

Seeing that the majority of us are skinny white kids that wear the most thug clothes as possible i thought this could be interesting.  Thoughts?

HAHAHAHHAHAHAA that school is overreacting sooooooo badly it's barely even funny. It's not about race-relations. If black people identify themselves by doo-rags, gang colors, and rap music, they need to re-evaluate their lives. It's called SATIRE. They weren't making a racist joke, it was obviously just a fun prank. Like 80's day, or Saint Patrick's day. Irish people and adults from the 80's don't get pissed when you dress up. Why? Because their not stupid cunts, and they're proud of their heritage. Now lets see them do a gay day. Dress up in obnoxious colors and act like stupid flamers all day, see how they react.

as several have said above, isnt it the assumption that these kids were trying to imitate blacks the racist part? the people who got upset about this are the ones associating these clothes with black people, so therefore arent they the racists?

Our Homecoming theme for my High School was almost going to be "Homecoming in Harlem" but the teachers thought it was too offensive so they made it "Arabian Nights", which I dont see as much better

It all speaks the absurd "blacks had it the worst" mentality in America, which is offensive to:

Jews
Armenians
The Native Americans (both north and south)
the Irish
The Welsh

Homosexuals
And anyone who comes from a family line of middle age surfs/peasants.
