There are a ton of free paid survey sites out there that are not scams. There are a few problems with them though, as making money for just taking a simple survey is wayyyy too good to be true.
About a month ago, I did as suggested and joined a ton of free paid survey sites. I made a new email account just for them, and waited for the survey offers to come through. These are the problems I faced.
1. 99% of them ask for background information, to see if you fit into the demographic that they are looking to get feedback from. I didn't qualify for most of the paying surveys. I believe this is because I'm a single white male in the 18-22 bracket living in a suburban area, which is probably very common.
2. Most of them have a system where you have to make a certain amount of money before you can cash out. For example, you get points for taking surveys instead of actual dollar amounts, and then once you receive the minimum amount of points, you can cash out and receive the dollar equivalent of your point value. Even after I managed to make a couple bucks, I had to make 75 before I could cash out, which would take a rather long time
3. Most of them take 20+ minutes to complete. It might not sound like a lot of time, but filling out surveys for an extended amount of time gets old pretty fast.
Overall. you can probably make money if you are patient enough and check your email on a regular basis. But making money through paid surveys isn't as easy as it sounds. I gave up after about two weeks, so hopefully you have better luck than I do.
