I'm looking to buy the best park boots available (no BC in Jersey), so I need some advice on which route to travel.  Currently, I ride Salomon Pro-Model boots from '06 that evoke agony (they're for sale, though they should be set aside for masochism).  Anyway, please limit all recommendations and criticisms to boots you've physically worn and used on the mountain, for I've read the reviews and would rather hear from someone who has felt, ya dig?

There really is no best park boot - everyone's feet are different. My feet are on the wider side, so the narrower Dalbellos and Full Tilts don't feel good to me, even though most kids on this site will tell you to get them no matter what. My absolute favorite boots are the Nordica Superchargers. I use the Ignitions, but for park, the Spark would be better. Go to a shop and try on a bunch of boots - that's the only way to find the best boot for you.

exactly what youre going to get here on ns. i have skinny feet and i didnt know what boot would fit, so i went to a boot fitter that had fulltilts because they are a narrow boot and i wanted to see if all the hype was true..well it was. theyre rediculously light, super comfy, and have a very "nice" flex to them becasue of the 3 peice boot design (by the way i got the booters) theyre so comfy i wear them around my house to break them in before the season haha. so go to a bootfitter that is near you that carries a variety of boots, (try to make sure they have spks and fulltilt because those are the premire parks boots for both a wide and narrow foot) and try some on and see what you like best!

but seriously its tough to take advice on boots. you have to kind of know what you are looking for in a boot and actually try different ones on. everyone is different. its not as easy as giving advice on a pair of skis when you can just say its stiff or flexy etc..... I have Agent 95's and love them. my buddy has them and hates them.

The "best Park boot" is going to be the one that fits you, go to a bootfitter they tell you whats up - you can say that you mostly ski park so that's more what you're looking for (Full Tilt, Dalbello, Salomon, and Technica are some examples of good park boot companies - but a good bootftter will know that). If you don't have a bootfitter near you, then go to a shop and try a bunch of different "park" boots (again - tell the guy in the shop that you want to look at park boots), and judge which one fits you best, but don't take everything the shop guy says as fact (in most cases - unless your shop is cool and legit, they don't care which boot fits you, they just want you to buy the most expensive one). DO NOT BUY BOOTS ONLINE WITHOUT TRYING THEM ON FIRST AND KNOWING EXACTLY WHICH BOOT IN WHAT SIZE YOU WANT FIRST!

yes this. everyone is going to recommend full tilts and i almost bought some. but when i went to the shop to try them on they were way too thin for my foot. so the bootfitter at my shop measured my foot and i got hooked up with some technica agent 80's. i love them.

And it's not right to go try boots on at your local shop and utilize their sales staff's knowledge, and then after they help you find the right boot go order it from some online place to save $15.

Support you quality local shop.
