So i've been wearing contacts for about five years now, and just recently i've been told i cant wear them anymore.  This shits a huge brick on my everyday life but im wondering what options there are for skiing.  I've heard goggles and glasses fog up like a hobag but would the Scott goggles with the fan help? Are there inserts that can be put into goggles or perscription lenses for goggles themselves?  I've tried skiing blind and its not an option.  Any help would be good cuz i dont know shit on this. karma for helpful answers

Smith makes the turbo fan series in the prodigy and i think the phenom. Also it may be possible to get prescription inserts or lenses.

why cant you use contacts? vision too bad? anyway i tried using a pair of goggles that were big enough to go over my glasses. it worked sometimes, but the fog does creep in... a fan sounds good though. good luck. or get lasik

I do believe that there are prescription goggle lenses, just very expensive...

theres very few as far as i know..

smith makes a knowledge otg with a turbo fan that would be killer.

The Smith Turbo Fan works well (haven't used em with glasses though). I think Oakley makes custom prescription lenses.

I remember looking for a goggle with prescription lenses, unless they're new (within the last three years) I don't think they really exist, You can get inserts for a lot of goggles though. Get good mirror lenses on the actual goggle though because they look kinda goofy from outside.

Oakley makes perscription lenses for the crowbars i think and those dont really ever fog up (at least in my experience) Smith has the fan that keeps fog down but i dont know about lenses

Ya, i cant wear contacts due to sensitive eyes.  It seems like something small but its actually really painful wearing for more then an hour.  Lasik isnt an option because im 16 and I've heard you need to be 18 to get it.  So from the answers, Oakley makes perscription lenses, and there are inserts that can be put into goggles?

As a side note money is not an issue cuz my parents are paying for it

get the c-bars
can't go wrong with c-bars.  especially if you are 16.  i doubt you will be getting any nose pinch.

you can get inserts for goggles, it's like glasses without legs that hook into your goggles
