Behringer DJX700

I saw a DJX700 at the pawn shop the other day in like mint condition. Anyways I'm interested in staring to get into making mixes and mash-ups.

So I'm wondering if anybody knows whether you can or cannot hook up a Behringer DJX700 to your computer.

behringer products suck.

yes you can hook it up to your computer if you have a nice sound card w/ midi . no its going to be all pimp like a USB midi controller.

and once again I would like to emphasize behringer sucks. they are a joke.

don't knock behringer without giving a reason, I know plenty of people who like behringer, especially the upper end product lines. that being said, not a personal favorite, but I wouldn't be past recommending them to a person if they fit the bill for what they were looking for. in this case, no.

you don't need midi i believe. I think you just need to run a stereo to RCA to and another from the mixer.

i have never heard of anything being bad about behringer... you should atleast say why you think it sucks.and he wouldnt need MIDI for mashups, unless he is creating his own loops with a synth or something of the likes.

also, most computers won't have a sound card that is good enough to process sound quality from a good synth or MIDI instrument and be able to mix it down into an MP3 or wav. file.

I am running a Yamaha S-90 synth into my laptop and im using CuBase LE. but i cant do an audio mixdown till i get an external soundcard like the Yamaha Audiogram 6 ot 3.

i dont know how much different it is with mashups compared to creating your own stuff from scratch, but do your research and make sure you arent throwing your money away on rediculous things that wont work.

you should be able to use a firebox and have what you need for like, 200 bucks

behringer makes the best product for the price.

but definitely does not make the best product.
