I have a Canon hfs100. It shoots in 60i and also 30p and 24p, although those are in a 60i package of sorts. All AVCHD footy obviously.
latest generation macbook dual core with base everything and FCE so my setups not super fast. It has handled footage from this camera before, albeit from imovie.
Question: What rates and/or qualities are best for editing and uploading footage onto the interwebs? Versus writing movies to DVD.
I know that 24p is more of a cinematic look while 60i is better for slow mo, but other than that I don't know much. I'm looking some things up on dvxuser.com but they use big words.
