Im gonna have to give some money to burton this year.....
i think he said "affordable"
most burton stuff is probably cheaper than saga or helly hansen...
i'd go for orage but thats probably also not that low in price...
really??? Every piece of Burton 3L I looked at this year was $350 or higher, the disgusting 3 color pullover-shell everyone had this year retailed at like $400 or higher. Saga is selling a full suit for $400 right now. Thats a 20/20 coat AND pants, that actually have zippers on them instead of being modeled after a poncho. Ive never like LDC but their stuff looks to be getting better each year, as well as most other brands trying to keep up with the super-tech-outer-shell trend that the most the industry is hopping on.
i hate to say it, but saga does in fact make sense, just a shame every other kid on ns wants it.
...and fuck burton. all the ski bashing back in the day annoyed me, and the fucking their dealers royally (which they are, btw). regardless of their prices or how good their stuff might be (its not that great) thats one company i'll never support.
Tomorrow goto TJ maxx and get some outerwear for cheap, you have to know where to look around. Last year at the end of the season I got a spyder "team venom" jacket 15k for $60
fool just download the tramdock and brociety pop up things. you get rediculusly discounted stuff. I have a special blend setup: goretex jacket with 15k pants for 160 total.
ya burton makes good stuff for a good price. honestly i dont give a flying pig terd about supporting the company burton i just wear there stuff because its affordable fits good and works good enough for me. i usually get orage but last year my edge cut through my pants. i might go with orage again this year or burton.
Yeah, i've got a size large blue jacket i'd be willing to sell for 60 and large khaki oakley pants i'd throw in for 20 more. Heres a pic from when I was 5' 7''
