Demonoid.... I miss you.

It's been down for like 2 and half weeks now.  Apparently they had a giant server crash and it looks like a lot of registered user data was lost. 

Anyone suggest a similar alternate for me?

try btjunkie.org i used to use demonoid but when it was first shut down i went to btjunkie and just never switched back.

Demonoid is a private torrent site. It's a great place to get torrents because the site being private prevents people from just downloading from other people without giving back and uploading. It makes all the downloads people do go quicker.

I switched to downloading with rapidshare, when I was at CU I got a warning from the IT staff that a movie distributor had noticed me downloading a torrent of one of their movies. It's easy for them to track the uploads that you have to do with torrents but with private download sites like rapidshare they have no idea since you aren't distributing anything. I also like that it's always really fast while torrents take a while to get going usually.

Comcast has blocked tpb.  The past 2 days it's been "Connection Interrupted" every time i try tpb

Just downloaded 2 episodes of tv shows using tpb today.  House and Flash Forward.  Works for me, try releasing your IP through your router or modem.

to be honest. what.cd kinda sucks. its next to IMPOSSIBLE to get your ratio up, because everyone seeds everything, so you have to be really careful about how much you download it. im on it now, but i never use it unless its something i cant find anywhere else.

i knowww! demonoid is fucked, tpb seems to be fucked.....and everything is going to hell in a hand basket.

ZOMbie land is a sick movie though! that's a bonuuuussssss.
