Windells Campers Skills.

It seems to me from all the footage I see from Windells that all the kids there are amazing. My question is are there any campers that are not very good?

There are people of all skill levels at Windells. The videos just show a lot of pros/best campers.

yeah there are people at windells who can barely do anything. i went this summer and at the start i could barely slide a box

its true. theres a huge range of skill levels. only the lucky ones/ kids that really kill it make it into the edits

Yeah there were kids doing rodeos and a kid just learning 3s and boxes in my group this summer.

I think thats cool that there are all skill levels. It would sure make me feel alot more comfortable if i ever had the chance to go.

you should see some of the talent at m.h.s.s.c. some kids kill it and yet some kids learn 180s.

i think before i go to windells i wanna be able to spin bigger than threes so instead of just learning spins i could learn how to make spins look good. if that makes sense

I learned how to really, actually jib at windells probably like 6 years ago now. The advice they gave to me when I was just getting into twin tipping I still use when learning tricks today. great place for anyone.

any session after 3+ is gonna be good. I went #2 and got shafted with weather; and the next session they like doubled their features as well.

going there this summer i was expecting every one to throw down hard but was really surprised when only two of the skiers were hitting the bigger jumps

never been but i know of a few kids that have gone the last few summers, these kids have wendells gear and stickers on everything ect... and to be honest there not very good, its like they think they will magically get better by going to wendells.

they only show the absolute best campers in the videos, with a few lucky exceptions. there are kids of absolutely every level there, its the best place there is to learn

Wait, so because they have windells gear and stickers they think there pro skiers? Terrible assumption. If you have ever gone there it is such a good time, I bought a backpack and hoodie to remember it (not to mention the merchandise is sick), plus they hand out stickers there like no other.

i went there and sucked. but usually alot of the kids are pretty good cause if most parents wont pay for their kid who cant do anything

ahh all i was trying to say was, of the skiers and snowboards i know, the ones that have gone to windells are not very good. the gear is how i identify the kids that have been.

lol doesn't make sence to put the shots of the kids that suck ( no offense) makes them and the coaches look better if they have better people in the videos

Kids of all ages and abilities come to Windells. The park has ride on tiny boxes and the smallest jumps as well as 100 foot rails and 80 foot jumps. We do try and show every aspect of camp in the videos but we all know that you NSers just wanna see some bangers!

I work there and do not even make the cut for the edits!

there is a hell of a lot of great athletes there, but there is A LOT of beginners too, and everyone is really supportive. You'll learn a lot no matter how good you are when you start.

session four is a great session to go, but there is more snow for ski out and stuff during three. i think im going session 3 next year. i went session four this year and the ski out was really dodgy

i know at mhssc at least there were a ton of kids who didn't know how to ride park

i watched windells a bit also and the majority was not that great, then there're the kids who just kill it and they're in the vids
