i couldnt find a video i could embed. anyway, i learned about this today, boondock saints being one of my all time favorite movies. im not sure if im excited about this as it could be amazing or just ruin the original completely. thoughts?
if they actually make it, which i doubt because they have been planning on making it for years now, it's going to be terrible. they couldn't get Willem Dafoe to come back and he's only in good movies. i love boondock saints and if they come out with a sequel i'll definitely see it even though i already know i will most likely be disappointed because the original was so good there is no way they can top it or even come close to it
Could be entertaining i guess, but not as good as the first. I what made the first one good was that they didnt know what they were doin, thats why it was so funny, just dirty and raw. This one looks like there fucking super spies or something gay like that
Nah, I'm not like some people who yell: "SEARCH BAR YOU FUCK!!!" I just thought I should say that it has been talked about at sometime. I won't karma rape someone unless they are a fucking idiot.
Naysayers, all of you. Why not hold out hope that it might actually be good? I doubt it will be better, but I'm sure it will still be a sick movie. Came out yesterday, limited release in select theaters. Unfortunately, none of them were anywhere near me...
i only saw the very end of boondock saints and let's just say I was slightly confused. They killed people in court just to get them off the streets or never able to get free again? I just saw the court seen where he was shouting some weird shit and then they all killed him.
i'm excited and optimistic
it kind of sucks though because apparently its only showing in "select" theaters and the closest "select" theater is 45 minutes away from me
I mean, there are some HORRID movies that I personally like. Like the Blade series, the Underworld movies, the Xmen movies, The Punisher and a couple others that RT always says are shitty as diarrhea, so, my opinion on how good they are could be a bit off.
The BLADE series will always be amazing, anyone who thinks otherwise is retarded.
To whoever said that Boondock Saints is a rip-off of Tarantino movies. You can go die, Quentin Tarantino is a shitty director and a crappy person in general. Grindhouse was RETARDED.
hey now, i approve of the strip down of whoever said it was a rip off being retarded, but i think tarintino movies are dope, they got good indie film festival camera work, wicked plots and inglorious bastards was nucking futz
Outside of "Reservoir Dogs" and "Pulp Fiction" I can't stand his movies. Like Kill Bill, those movies I fucking hate. It could be because I am Japanese and see all the flaws in how they use the swords. I don't know, I guess I am just weird then.
Man, I realize this. I still can't stand the way the swords are used. Just like "The Last Samurai"... watched the special features and I wanted to kill the costume/set designers
"We feel we did a great job with the architecture of the buildings and the costumes. We feel they are very traditional Japanese."
The only traditional Japanese part of the costumes were the Katanas and the Bows. The armor the samurai wore was NOT made out of steel plates, they had helmets with horn like things but not antler looking horns. And the buildings with all the columns make it look like China. I know, I am incredibly biased because I am half-Japanese but still, it is incredibly annoying.
No, I watch them for entertainment too. Its just there are a couple things that really stand out is all. The biggest one in Kill Bill is all the blocking. You block with the side of the katana the damn blade will bend, I have seen it happen.
