well i just shared my opinion in a thread in media/arts section but i thought id reiterate it here in NSG so more people get this public service announcement. anyway dont see this piece of shit its fucking terrible, they literally could not have made a worse zombie movie if they had tried. the only good part was woody harrelson and the scenes with him fucking shit up were few. plus the girl is a cunt. save your 5 bucks and dont see this movie

its not like that at all. i went in expecting a sweet ZOMBIE movie with gratuitous violence and zombie killing and some laughs. i got very little of either of those, instead i watched a corny love story

I agree I thought it was really really funny.  The part when 406 comes to his house and attacks him, not to give too much away, I seriously couldn't breath I was laughing so hard.  I almost peed my pants.  It was by no means a good movie, with wholesome values, and a complex plot, but it was a hilarious way to spend an hour and a half!

the movie was great, a little short but you have to have stupid humr to understand these movies, and if you do, they're great, would see again and movies are nowhere near $5 lol, but if you got hook ups like that tell them i want in bahahahahaha

I was the opposite. I was expecting a corny love story, and instead they had maybe two minutes of bullshit romance in the WHOLE fucking movie. Not too bad. Instead they had lots of brutal zombie killing, and yeah some of the jokes were tired but for the most part they did a pretty awesome job. Did we even see the same movie? I'm not some pretentious fucking movie snob like you are, but I've seen my fair share of movies from more than just the past decade, and I was thoroughly impressed by this movie. And that cameo was FAR from average. You're a doucherag.

Nevertheless, I'll bite. Sure the plot pivoted on the fact that he wanted the girl, but whatever, complex plots were never a zombie movie forte, so shut the fuck up. As far as ACTUAL corny romance goes, maybe two minutes. Tops. Also, the fact that you somehow managed to fail at adding to 100 when one of your numbers was SEVENTY FUCKING FIVE strips any and all credibility as an intelligent human being you may have once had. Get fucked.

there is a local 1950's retro kind of movie theater in my area where movies are $3 but they only play the movies there like 3 months after they open at a normal theater.

still nice and cheap though and the vibe/atmosphere at an old-style theater is sweet

Rolling stone review.

Went in thinking it was going to suck hard.... ended up laughing the whole time. The whole Bill Murray scene was ridiculous! I was entertained and could care less if somebody thought the movie wasn't deep enough.

On another note, whoever thought of killing zombies in an amusement park is brilliant. Watching Tallahassee rip through zombies on a roller coaster was amazing. Definitely a nice break from the standard "oh no there's zombies let's hole up and hope they don't get in" style.

lets get one thing straight. i never complained about this movie not being deep enough. i love stupid movies. Uhm... nope. There was the part in Bill Murray's house, and the part at the end. I guess you can include some scenes of him being awkward with her, which perhaps brings it up to five minutes of corny romantic bullshit, but those were amusing. The rest was usual dissonance within the group of survivors, which occurs in every fucking zombie movie. Shaun of the Dead had more corny romantic bullshit and that movie was incredible. Therefore, I still urge you to get fucked.

I'm glad someone else hated this trite piece of garbage. I am actually embarrassed that I paid money to see it. I guess if you like crap like Superbad then this movie is for you because its a bromance/rom com that happens to have some zombies in it rather than a zombie movie that has subplots.
My description of this waste of film is quite simple: Someone dug up John Hughes body, gave it a lobotomy, skull fucked it and then it combine all of his "awkward teen gets the hottie" movies and since it was dead itself it added some zombies.
