Twin tips for my mom!

alright so my mom skis at kilington with her friends a lot on weekdays, and is looking for a new pair of skis. she never bombs down anything, she likes to take a lot of short turns and mostly does occasional pow/glade skiing at killy, probably 2-3 times a week.

she wants to try something maybe a little bit fatter than her old directional dynastars, and i told her she should get salomon foils or mynx's (really short turing radius, do well mounted traditional), but i can't seem to find any in the 160-170 length for sale anymore. are the lords/ladys similar?

any other ideas? something that can be mounted back and do well, and ideally something that turns quick and is fun. also nothing much over $ 300, so basically anything last years.

The lady would be an awesome ski for her. It is not a full twin which probably won't matter in her case. The tail does come up a little bit though. It has a little bit of rocker in the tip too. It doesn't look like much, but it really does help the ski ride the way it was designed to. Gives you that little bit of lift in the front in a little bit of pow and helps you blast through crud. They are stiff skis, which the foils never were. The foils came with a foam core, where the Lords/Ladys have a full wood core. They are an awesome all mountain ski though. Would probably suit her well. I recommend them

i agree with the guy above me, lady's would be great for her. you should also look at the line celebrity, which is basically a women's anthem. its 90 underfoot so its wide enough for a lil pow and still versetile enough for the rest of the mountain
