Sizing.....

So i am looking into buying some Surface One Life's but i am not sure on the size. It seems lots of people i talk to get the 189s but that seems really long to me. They are rocker thought and i dont know if that makes a different i havent ridden much pow or pow skis. I am about 5' 10". Thanks for any help +K

If you havnt skied much pow or on pow skis.

I suggest you go shorter, they will be easier to ski(turn) then maybe later on sell them and go longer if you feel they get to short. thats my $.02

Usually I'm an advocate for longer skis, but if you're new to pow skiing, you'll probably have more fun on the shorter ones. Plus, the huge rocker will keep you afloat anyway.
