I went outside this morning for class and took that deep breath in, and gawt dammit it smelled like winter's coming!!! I can't wait for the upcoming ski season on the EC... Come to think, the first snowflakes could be only a couple weeks away...

It snowed a ton on the west coast this week.

Places in oregon got like 5+inches and idaho got almost a foot up in the mountains. Went up there and fooled around in the snow.

When I went outside this morning and it was like 45, I could definitely feel it coming. That's decently cool for Indiana this time of year, so I'm really hoping this winter is a good one.

Last week I was walking to class out side and took a deep breath and could feel it in my lungs.  Best feeling in the world!  AND this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday... Well it is supposed to snow here.. IN MN!

Time to grab the fall sale prices on Subarus before the snow comes.  Love the drives up to VT and ME when it's dumping on the roadways.  No better feeling that finally getting to the mountain.  Stooooooked!

i tell you what for all your east coasters, when i used to live in mass, there was something about the pre skiing atmosphere i cannot explain. Sure Colorado is fucking awesome, but the anticipation of winter is different. I mean there really is none. Ive skied every month....sure its AWESOME, but there is something special about the electricity in the air in the east that doesnt compare to anywhere else. I ALMOST kind of miss it.

haha you poor poor soul...

and yeah next week is looking promising for the first snowflakes of the season in central NY (Syracuse area).... SOOOOO PUMPED!!! highs are gonna be in the 20s and 30s next week too with lake effect snow all week. CHEA!!

I love it when i walk into class in fall and everyone is all pissy about it being cold and i have the biggest smile for the same reason. and to whoever was talking about the feel of the upcoming season, i def. know what you mean. i always like the way things kind of slow down a little in the fall.
