Replying to Lots of ideas and questions

So Im new on this cult and really stoked on how everyone is so nice, helpfull and friendly with eachother, NS's people, you're doing good !

Im willing to make my own hoodie since a while, and now I saw all the threads and amazingly sick customs hoodies you made (mad props to Laurence, cibbles and Brian), so Im def ready to do mine.

It was hard to find a store here (Im from France) selling some fabrics but I finally found it, one meter of fabric is 9 euros so I think it's a legit deal (about 13USD / 1 yard).

I have so many questions/ideas and I would like to know what you think about :
- how many meters should I take, btw Im planning on a hoodie about 35/40 inches long.
- Do you already try to make the hood with 3 parts not only two ? Like to face and a stripe between the 2 stripes ?
- What you think about making hole into the wristband for the thumb ? How could I do ?
- Have you tryed to sew on the interior of your hoodie some fleece or any other warm material to make it warmer ?
- What's your advices to sew at the very bottom of the hoodie and the wristband the "ribbing", the stretchy part in order to make it fit better ?
