you have a trisomy on your 21st chromosome dont you? johnny cash was dead before 9inch nails was together........my sarcasm meter just got its yearly check up and re-alignment, and it is reading 0 for this post.
"Hurt" is a song written by Trent Reznor, first released on Nine Inch Nails' 1994 album The Downward Spiral. In 2002, "Hurt" was covered by Johnny Cash to critical acclaim; it was one of Cash's final hit releases before his death. Its accompanying video, featuring images from Cash's life and directed by Mark Romanek, was named the best video of the year by the Grammy Awards and Country Music Awards.
The Nine Inch Nail version is a lot better in my opinion. The Cash version with the video is very moving, but just doesn't do it like the NIN version for me.
I better not catch any of you little bastards taking Johnny Cash's name in vein. A remix would be blasphemous, and I don't allow any blaspheming in my house. If Johnny wanted a goddamn hip-hop song he woulda wrote it that way Himself.
Dude. Remix is not synonymous with hip hop. I wouldn't want this song mashed with some Lil Wayne shit either, but there probably could be a way of making a cool remix. The ToToM Bob Dylan mash up album has zero hip hop in it and it's freakin' awesome. Pixies and Dylan go ridiculously well together...
OH! no shit, ive been thinking bare naked ladies for some odd forseen reason, and canadian music has nothing to do with nine inch nails, but bare naked ladies are from canada. alright, im fucking stupid, thanks, bye.
