Rossi FKS 120

So I found some Rossi fks 190's for $199.00. Super stoked. Are these good bindings? They are turntable bindings and they seem like they might release too easilly. Can anyone tell me a thing or two about these bindings? Thanks

ns is in love with these bindings. they release harder then a normal din. i THINK i remember hearing someone say that a din at 8 on a regular binding is like a 6 on a turntable.

It's not that they release harder so you set it lower, but more the fact that they have so much elasticity so they only come off when you have a crash. It stops pre releases. With a lot of bindings you need to crank it up to stop this, but with FKS they can move a bit without coming off. Awesome binding. I run 120's on my park skis since the vertical release is nice, and 155's on my other skis.

NS might not agree with me. but the first time i rode my Ar6s with my FKS's. it really felt like i had nothing holding my skis onto my feet. i personally can feel a difference in the way the ski responds and skis with the FKS. IMO its WAY better.  i think the biggest thing is you dont have this big ass track behind your boot on your ski. i can tell a difference skiing, and i like the difference.

if you can get them for $200. they are well worht the money.

Yeah thats the other thing about the fks, the foot print is small and the only "dead spot" on your ski is right under your boot which will always be there. This allows the ski to flex more naturally and freely.

IMO the main advantage with FKS 155 or 185 (not the 120 because they have a plastic heel piece and stopper) is that the stopper will never break!
If you lean too much forward when landing switch and the binding comes off, usually the stoppers gets caught in the snow and everything blows up if you have a plastic heel piece. With the 155 and 185 the metal stopper will just bend, not break off.
You don't have to go to the shop for another brake, just bend it back the other way and your good to go on with your day. Really useful when riding the park.
The FKS 155 and 185 are basically bombproof. If you have the money buy them since they will probably last you a lifetime.
