MIPs suck huge balls.

just got one and it sucks balls. I was soo looking foward to my senior year of highschool, but no not now. The worst thing is that my 18th b-day is on froday and homecoming is the next week. Plus i can probably say good by to the ski sason for a while. Right now I hate the law, cops should open their pig eyes and realize that were all human. In need of some serious NS vibes right now.

This, and laws are around for a reason too to be completely honest.  Yes, MIPs suck mega donkey dick, but, like Bears said, don't get caught.

Don't worry bro. I got 4 mip's, but only 3 convictions. Just don't get any DUI's.....

Im still driving...LEGALLY.
But I am 23 now :P

You'll get a deferral agreement, and probably 20 hours of community service. I wouldn't worry about it. Be thankful it's before your 18th and not after.

i got a deferral agreement when i was 19 for a MIP.  I had to go to a alcohol class and  lost my license for six months.

Haha damn that sucks.

1st mip is nada around here but a slap on the wrist.
2nd mip is license lost for like 1 month i tihnk, and probation of up to a year (including drug testing)
3rd mip is license lost for like 3 months, and probation up to a year

I can't comment on the 4th cause I never was convicted for the 4th.

That sucks a fat one. If you plan on going to college do whatever you can to get rid of it. Definitely don't get caught, but the best way to not get caught is to just not carry it around or not do it in the first place.

I was talking about this last night.  I am 26 drink about 3-4 times a week and have never had a drinking citation in my life.  The story came up because a girl i work with asked to go home early because her ankle hurt.  Her ankle hurt because the night before the cops showed up to the party she was at, she jumped out a window, hurt her ankle, and was then given a citation.  Had she just walked out the door nothing would have happened

In the state of Washington, yeah. I disagree with the law, but it gets removed from your record with the deferral agreement, so it's not terrible.

20 hours? that might be a little steep. i got felony pos 1 & 2, went through deferral, and got 16 hrs with no convictions.

Alright so I was to drunk last night to type the story, but heres what went down. SO I had just left a party and was at a park which is like the hang out spot for everyone at my school. The previuos night i was dd and my friend Joey puked in my car so I was pretty pissed and told that he had to give 10 bucks cause I cleaned up his puke, sounds pretty reasonable to me. Anyway, my friend mason was like the only way you can solve this is by wrestling so we started wrestling cause any idea is a good idea when your drunk. So we were wrestling and the next thing you know theres someone pulling us off eachother, i thought it was my friend at first but it happened to be a cop. No one saw him coming cause he was undercover and it wasnt a crown vic either so no one had any idea it was a cop. After the cop broke us up he was like i was about to tazer you, wtf? He also didnt belive that me and joey were friendsand threatened us with a public disturbance ticket too. So yea pretty shitty night, plus i had work at 6 am this morning which also sucked huge balls.

ya i mighta got lucky, cause 2 kids in my community service group got way more hours than me for a lesser offense. one kid spent the weekend courtside at juvenile detention for an MIP. idk i never even saw a judge, when the counselor saw my GPA, she kinda let me slide.

Only if you present this in a way without sounding like a pretentious douche bag. Not saying that you are in any way right now, but I'm just saying judges will make assumptions out of their ass.
