Boots That Stop Toe Bang?

I get toe bang off absolutley everything, but my boots seem to fit okay.
Are there any boots out there that will stop toe bang ?
I'm a 29.5 with real fat feet.
Salomon SPK Kaos, for the toe box?

boots that fit correctly
and dont land backseat or lean too far back

when your weight is behind the boots, ot pushes your toes toward the end of he boot, thus causing toebang if your feet dont fit correctly in the boot. get boots that have a comfortable lining and are wide enough for your feet from heel to toe.

make sure you cut your toenails back as far as you possibly can. makes a huge difference.

Get a boot that can be heat molded with a narrower toe box and you will be doing it.

Solution: Go to a bootfitter. Even if you didn't buy your boots at the shop that you go to, they can help make sure your boot fits well. Go to a bootfitter, explain your problem, they'll help you out. Problem solved.

You have to go to a legit shop though, you can't go to Sports Authority and expect them to help you out. Support your local small ski shops instead.

yeah if they fit right you shouldn't get toe bang

but short toenails is the easiest solution, just keep them shorter than the front of your toe so you don't lose nails

Holy shit, I can't believe nobody has said THE MOST IMPORTANT THING:

FOOTBEDS.  Get a footbed that works for you, and your foot will stop sliding forward.  This also tends to be important for people with low shin bang.  I use SOLE footbeds (SOLE Softec Ultra, the deep heel and medium-high rise puts my foot in the perfect position and I don't slide forward).   Salomon makes horrible stock footbeds...,that's a big reason why a ton of people get shin bang from Sollys.

so true. footbeds are key in bootfitting! imo and most bootfitters opinion.

go to a shop known for bootfitting as stated above.  if you dont know what a good shop is... see if they are masterfit certified.  typically most good boot fitters are masterfit cert but not always.

correct fitting boots (and footbeds!) are key to preventing all boot issues.

this is completley useless if he doesnt have a boot that properly fits his foot.

to the TS...start with working on the boot itself. then if you have to get a new boot. then footbeds.

dont waste ur time/money with a footbed unless the boot fits you properly. (cause ur id of an ok fit and my idea of an ok fit is most likely different)

same goes for boosterstraps

i have the 07 spk pro boots and i haven't had a problem with toe or shin bang (knock on wood)
