pocket rockets are basically powder skis...out of those two go with the 1080s for all mountain/park, but there are better options than those...check the other threads

prs handle well for thier width, but still arent great on groomers , decent park
1080s are good all round, if your not real big, theyll still float---
both have foam cores, lose pop pretty quick

Get PEs. Good park and powder mix ski. I use them and like them. They also have wood cores so they will stay snappy and won't deteriorate like Salomon's foam crap that they pass by as a ski core. Seriously, you will get more bang for your buck if you get something wood core and from a company that will back their warranty. PEs have done me good, and they are like 200 dollars less than any Salomons

id definately tell you to get the pocket rockets. I love mine and i disagree with what people say about them not performing well on groomers; i can carve like a motherfucker with mine. They obviously rip on any fresh snow, particularly the deep muff, and i almost always use them in the park instead of my candides. They are wicked easy to spin and they are the most stable ski ive ever used when landing switch. I only wish that i got the 185s rather than the 175s. My only complaint is that they are a little slower than my other skis. Oh, and they are a bitch to wax because they are so ginormous and it takes a ton of wax witch can be expensive. But i totally recommend getting a pair because they are a ton of fun and a choice addition to any arsonol of skis, particularly my own.

i've never had any trouble with groomers on my pocket rockets, they hold their edges well, and handle speed really well too. obviously they're great in powder, and they're good in the park too. but i've never tried 1080s, so i can't really give you an accurate comparison.

Soloman is shit, foam core. Good for tricks, bad for durablility. If ur lookin for fat skis, get some mojos or gutamas or however the fuck u spell that

they are both overpriced crappy skis. if u like em, then u have to try out some other skis. u will notice a huge difference, if u dont, u arent skiing aggressive enough to know the difference
