How do you heat mold the Liners on the SPK Pros?

I want to get them heat molded. Do i have to have a shop do it for me? and will it hurt the liner in any way?

forgive me if I'm wrong, but I don't think that you can. The liner isn't made to be heat molded. You can buy an intuition liner for it and heat mold that, I think the temperature for heat molding is something like 125 degrees, I can't remember - I know it was pretty hot and that a conventional boot warmer can't do it, but shops that do heat molding (any shop that carries Full Tilt or Dalbello Ill Morros should have a heat molder) would be able to do it if you can.

    at my old shop we used to tell people that were in too much of a hurry to heat mold at our shop that you can take a hair drier and heat up the inside liner with that.

    i suppose it would work.

    but seriously, all heat molding does is make the boot break in faster. the spk is pretty comfy from the get go, so i wouldnt even bother. decreases the life of the liner. i didnt heat mold mine and in less than a week they were broken in.

    Then directly onto your foot.
    Within 12 seconds or else the entire process is ruined and must be started again.

    yea, SPk's aren't meant to be molded i dont think. just wear em and work them in yourself.
