I don't know if this is a repost but... I don't know much about film editing, but please tell me that the shot at 2:31 (the final shot) was edited, becasue if not my whole world just came crashing down.

I think so. Kinda like that video on youtube where the guy throws the glasses and the other guy catches it. Take a look at some of the knifeshow edits on Vimeo, its that kind of style of editing.
If that guy actually did that though, mad props to him.
