and i cant help but notice how much hatred there is going around on this site right now.  Is it completely necessary?  We are in the midst of a bound to be epic season and all I see on newschoolers is people talking SHIT!  WHY?!  The only thing to be talkin trash on is how much you dislike the snow gods for not giving you an early season blessing.   Skiing is one of the only sports where you can express youself through pure personality and style (while trying not to get hated on by newschoolers).  There is so much diversity in this sport that we ALL love (thats why we're here, right?) that it doesn't matter if you do the SICKEST cork 12 on the fucking planet! You do it because it makes you happy.  You don't need to be the best, you just need to have fun.  Simon Dumont is one of the most innovative skiers that has ever lived and all you young lads, please think before you talk about people who have been in the game for years, pushing the limits and giving you a something to be passionate about.  This thread is not about Dumont, but instead, about the pure love for the sport of skiing.  Get over your shit talking and be happy.

That was really well thought out and well typed too. I can barely type that well sober.

This is a big problem on this site, but it usually ends once people get back on the hill, I wish people could not hate in the off season, but I don't see it happening, we just spend so much time watching everyone ski on here and then we get angry and spread hate.

perhaps we can all imagine that we are at the top of the park having a conversation, you know, just respect where its at, not hidden behind a glass screen where 110 pound kids have the balls to talk shit. there are a lot of places where you run your mouth and get hit, so just stop al together.

this is the first thread ive seen with a bunch of nomen hate, but idk if i like it, he does a hell ton for the site, but just enforces stuff alot, ocd like. i like him non the less, but sometimes it seems like important things like this need to be in more viewed areas, like a popular threads forum
