same design as last year i think go to freeskier magazine, they have a online buyers guide, i hate to sound like a prick but. do a little research before you post. you can find out a lot of stuff over the google
I went from Invaders to AR6's and then back to Anthems just because i love LINE's symetrical skis, but the AR6 is super fun. It's really light and responsive on rails and the thing can fucking carve really well. That's the one thing that suprised me about the AR6, it skis fast as fuck and holds an edge really well. It can even slash a foot of pow through the trees. The flex was a little too stiff for my liking and the construction was kind of odd to me, idk i'm weird. But regardless its a fun as hell ski.
Alright, so I've done this review a bunch of times. This is one of the BEST skis I've EVER ridden, It is soft in the nose, so excellent butters, but stiff enough in the tail to keep you up on big jumps. The ski is pretty much indestructible, the base is made to hold up to anything and it does. It can hold an edge in some of the iciest conditions (I ski in Connecticut - SO much ice). The only downside is that since the core is so strong it makes the ski kinda heavy, but I only really noticed it when I was carrying it around, not really while I was skiing - even in the park. Other than that, the ski is BALLER, I totally recommend it.
Thank you for the honest review. Everybody else should know that freeskier and other online reviews are bias and would never give you a "bad" review. According to them every ski fucking rips. I mean the salomon suspects were basically rated #1 and we all know how everybody feels about them.
Only complaint is I rocker the tips and tails after 2 weeks of riding. This is my 4th pair in less than a season, but it doesn't really bother me since they are always warrantied
alright cool thats exactly what i wanted to hear. i obviously don't expect them to ski great centermounted, but as long i can get used to them enough to carve of jumps i'll be happy. everywhere else i'm ok with a kinda washy ski
not really, im 160 and rocker the tips quickly from buttering and i really have no clue how i rocker the tails but it always happens, at first i thought i got a defective pair but now it just seems like the ski, either way its a good ski, just kind of weird how this always seems to happen. I only notice it when my tips start to chatter a lot at high speed
i have the 08-09 ar6s centered mounted and i love them in the park
such a durable fun ski that can handle anything
i skied hard for a year and i have no core shots or edge cracks
they do chip a ton because the cosmetics are paper thin but that doesnt effect riding at all
and to the guy that said they are heavy....last years and this years ski have a new core that is more lightweight than the previous years
