Stowe Glades

so even though it is a good 5+ months away, i was wondering if someone could give me info about the stowe glades. i've skied the ones off of perry merril and all the ones in that area, but me and some friends were talking about hiking up the ones to the right of the top of the gondola, and i was wondering if people had information like what spots to hit up there, how long it takes to get far up, etc etc. my school trip there isn't until january, but i had to get my skiing fix of the day somehow, and i thought this might work

noone will tell you, you just got to go and find em yourself or ride with kids who know the mountain.

or at least people shouldn't tell you on NS.

i rode there last season and still feel like there is soooo much to explore.

If you drop into the lookout glades at the very top u can get a nice run, also to the left of starr (if i remember correctly) is pretty nice. i just remember going by this 30 ft cliff.

there are definately many many spots at stowe so find locals and beg...

jk, but I really do feel like Stowe would be one of the best eastern places to be a local.  I've skiied there just enough to know I'm just scraping the possibilities.   Now the mega-resort development on the other hand...

Yeah, the death-star-like hotel kinda sucks, but its not even on the main mountain, and its nothing compared to southern vermont or out west so it aint so bad. and as for being a sellout, dirt bag ski bum types gotta make do, amirite? He still has to keep up if he wants the goods

yo can go anywhere at stowe pretty much and have a good time u dont even have to hike to find untouched pow in the trees

ill be nice and tell you about a super popular, mostly tracked out glade.  go up the gondola and take a left.  then go right into the woods before the first turn and it will eventually lead to a super tracked glade called kitchen sink.  just go down that and dip off down hill for a while and it comes out by the lodge.
