Replying to Can I Bend the Brake Arms to Make Bindings Fit my Ski?

Hey I'm hoping someone can help me out.  I just got some 4FRNT MSP 171 skis and some Look PX 12 Lifter Bindings and the bindings aren't fitting over the skis.  The width of the ski is 87 and the brake arm width is 80.  Should I return to the bindings (bought them online) or should I try and bend the arms to fit?  I'm not really sure what the best approach would be.  I could exchange them for the "wide" version, but the brake width on those is 100.  I'm not sure if that would be too wide.  Any ski techs out there have any advice.  Thanks
