Is it worth getting an orange and brown air raid suit.... I really want it but don't know if its worth $710 canadian... WHATS YOUR THOUGHTS????

you gotta figure that out for yourself man. $710 for someone making minimum wage is not the same as $710 for someone making $100,000 a year.

If you ski 100 days a year that's different from someone who skis 10 times a year.

Think about it for yourself.

If any one remebers the standard oakley used to uphold, well the air raid stuff that I have seen is at that standard. Tough, waterproof, stylish (brown and orange), and durable. Yes it is $300 for the jacket and $200 for the pants. It is expansive, but you will get what you pay for. Look at any other company who makes high quality outerwear, not just the specs but how it actually performs and holds up. Spending $300-$500 is what is costs. Orage, Oakley, Spider, Arc'teryx you can now add Armada to that list, all make high quality outerwear, all of them charge a pretty penny for it too.

i was thinking the same thing... but oakley makes quality. If you want it get it. I am going to get the red/white. And it will probably get me through at least a couple seasons. You get what you pay for.. although saga is very tempting at 400. which is a great price for a 20k suit. If your worried about price go saga

i love the brown/orange and also the red/white but its a sick suit NOT 170 haha but really solid looks good 20/20k i bealive so yeh get it

This is just me, but personally $710 or $500 on outerwear! No thanks, that could buy me two sick (3 in the sales) pairs of skis. That could buy me a season pass. That could buy an east coaster flights out west, somewhere to stay and a pass for a week. There are a shit ton of things I could spend that kind of money on that I would before I'd fork it out on outerwear. If you are rolling in money then by all means go ahead buy a 20k suit for ridiculous money. But if you look around I bet you can find a dope suit from last season in 10k and for no more than $150 bucks leaving you $400-550 to spend on something that will affect your skiing more.
I can't be the only person who sees outerwear as a low priority.

Ummmm.......... I think most people on this sight are aware of the quality that Oakley outerwear has been known for in recent years. My experiences with their outerwear have all been negative.

if you want it by all means get it
but on here you can get some pretty dope suits for less
you could probably get like 2 or 3 setups off ns for that price
and good brands as well
